Two From Garrard Involved In Pagan Motorcycle Gang Indicted

A federal grand jury in Charleston West Virginia has indicted fifty-five members of a shady motorcycle gang, Pagans Motorcycle Club (PMC), two of which are from Garrard County.

A total of 44-counts, including numerous violent crimes such as kidnapping, racketeering, robbery, extortion and conspiracy to commit murder, have been levied against the group that has chapters in eight states including Kentucky.

Stanford Stays Dry

Voters in Stanford overwhelmingly rejected alcohol sales in Tuesday’s Wet/Dry vote for the city of Stanford, casting 499 ballots against the measure and 344 in favor.

EMS Director Improving

Things were beginning to look up for Garrard County’s EMS director, Colby Arnold, who was seriously injured in a bicycle accident on Sept. 27.

By Monday he was moving his extremities, speaking some and off the ventilator, County Coroner Daryl Hodge, the family’s spokesperson, said.
